Satan Club - they are saying "come join now!" how to protec and defen against them.
There is a video circling, and there have been many before it, concerning a young woman who says she met the devil himself and that she was part of a group who targeted clergy with their spells and incantations and with their astral projection. They did this in order to attack the Christian world. To a Catholic this is not frightening but we see it as part of a the normal spiritual battle which is ongoing. In order to protect yourself one must know how to defend against such things. Having discipline and practicing the faith and receiving the sacraments is the easiest way to protect against these attacks. Prayer is another. In the Our Father, we say “lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.” The St. Michael prayer is also a great way to utilize prayer. The sign of the cross is another and was used by St. Anthony against the devil. We all know this as Catholics or at least we should but as I have written about before the devil’s greatest trick is to make people believe he doesn’t exist. Many will say it is all just fanciful nonsense and that there is no God, no devil. Well, this young lady who claims she met the devil and was trained to attack Christians through spiritual warfare would disagree.
The interesting thing about her though is she converted to Christianity. Why? She began to realize that her attacks while fruitful in some areas were not fruitful against all and did not work against some people. This made her wonder why. If the devil is powerful why isn’t his power sufficient in all instances, she wondered? This logic was the same used by St. Christopher who served the devil because he was looking for the toughest guy around to follow and join. I have written about his story in past posts as well but one day he realized that a little child, Christ, was more powerful than the devil himself and so he took the child on his shoulders and carried him and became a Christ bearer or Christopher.
As persons who have fear, we seek power because power defeats and dominates and it protects, it defends. We find a strong leader and follow them or become a strong leader who gathers followers. After some time though we realize there is an even stronger power and that is God and so we follow Him. And from Him we receive mother church who provides us with all the tools necessary to be delivered from evil but we must also engage and not be lazy or indifferent. “Increase our faith” I pray.
If you’re under attack from the devil, which you may well be, go to confession, receive the sacraments, adore the Eucharist, pray the prayers and you will be delivered from evil. Father Ripperger says lack of discipline is the reason demons can gain a foot hold into your life. Have discipline. There was a protestant who was the pastor as the crystal cathedral in Los Angeles and he lost his church. When asked what he could have done better, his response was “have more discipline.” Now, that same church is owned by the Catholic Church. Bishop Fulton Sheen used to speak there while it was still protestant.
And so whether one was a satanist but now is a Christian or another place was once a powerful symbol of Protestantism but now is Catholic we remember that nothing is forever except God and that the mighty have fallen before and they will again. In time.
