the system
by definition a system is "a set of things working together as parts of a mechanism or an interconnecting network."
When I was younger I bought a jacket and the jacket came with a product description. It had a shell and warming liner along with other features. The company who made the jacket said the jacket was “a system”. When I wore the jacket I asked others if they liked it and if they said “yes” I would reply “it’s a system.” By saying that I inferred it was more than just a jacket but it was designed as a set of things working together and was superior to a normal jacket. It was a system and I was very proud of the fact that I had a jacket and that jacket was a system. The world seems like it is a system. A lot of parts working together to form a mechanism. This mechanism is designed to maximize our pain and to minimize hope for the future. What we are being told whether we realize it or not is that there is no hope for us and what’s more we are the reason for our own destruction.
We live in a system. Some examples of a system given by the dictionary are a subway system and a university system. Both good examples of what a system is; a subway being an interconnected railway both under and above ground with the purpose of transporting us to different places. The university has classes which have syllabi which were designed by experts and lead to a degree upon graduation. It’s a system. Our government is a system. Our military is a system of sorts.
There seems to be a system in place built by the powerful that is designed as an interconnecting network of institutions and things, e.g. governments, courts, money, taxes, laws, etc., that are tweaked in such a way to keep the rich and powerful, well, rich and powerful. It wouldn’t be any other way as becoming rich and powerful is an intentional act for most. Sure, some inherit their money, maybe a lot inherit it but at some point keeping what you have becomes a job unto itself. If you have money you can use it as a tool or a weapon. You can purchase influence. You can back a candidate. You can meet the right people. If you have the intention to do it and have the money and the connections you can make things happen. A rich person can have the best lawyers and tax accountants who can figure out the best way to not pay taxes. A rich person can be a corporation who can figure out ways to use their free capital to expand into other businesses. Have you noticed now that all rich actors are starting some sort of business? Why? To keep their money. A rich person can have armed body guards, the best home defense systems, bullet proof SUVs. Rich people if aligned could also target the rest of us so that we become good consumers of their products. The rich can buy data, big data, and use that data to market to you, not just all of you, but to you specifically. They could create a vast entertainment industry of sports, movies, television, games, apps, smart phones, etc. that would keep us from even thinking about the system. And, when asked how did they fool us all they would say “it’s a system.” They could also have clubs and groups they could belong to, very exclusive. They could kill the ones they didn’t like and bring in counterfeits who spoke a sort of truth to give some of us a relief valve. These would be imitators. They look like a duck, walk like a duck, act like a duck but they just don’t quack quite right. The system would also have to keep people really busy and heavily burdened so they don’t have time to see the system or talk about the system or realize there is a system. Of course, the system would have to isolate and vilify anyone who dared question the system. A good system would also divide people and not allow unity. The system would mock people who spoke the truth through the entertainment apparatus. Of course, no good system like this would work without a healthy dose of infiltration which would be aimed at destroying the enemy (us) from within. A good system would brainwash people and tell them what to think and never to question authority such as wearing a cloth mask protects against a virus or a shot that isn’t a vaccine is a vaccine or that you have the right to go into a liquor store but not into a church. This could be achieved through a multi level marketing group of influencers who emphasized certain aspects of the system so that the masses would fall in line. Our focus is upon them and what they tell us and not upon the system. I could imagine there would be some sort of hierarchy that drove the influencer system. What would the point of all this be? As I said before it would be to keep the system in place and the rich and powerful stay rich and powerful. Of course, as with all good systems the rich and powerful are also pawns in all this but they live a better life style. They serve their master too. One cannot serve both God and mammon.
This is the system we live in. We have banks that take our money and loan it out to others so they can make interest off others without actually having to own anything. This is fractional banking. We have corporations who make billions and have an interest in us continuing to buy their things. Then, they only pay us just enough so we can survive. We have a government which taxes us and then they pay themselves large salaries. We have Hollywood which tells us what to think not through entertainment but through propaganda. We have sports which gives us identity and entertainment. We say “I’m a Browns fan!” or “I’m a Broncos fan!”. Congratulations. This system is meant to keep us from discovering the truth and even if we discover it it keeps others from hearing it. The basic premise of how we are enslaved by the system is that the rich can print money while we have to work very hard for just enough to survive. If we want to live the American dream we will become indebted upon day one of adulthood. We pay for our education, our house, our car, our medical and before our children are thirty, they are a million dollars in debt.
This is the world the youngest generation is coming into.
If we participate in the system then we are either on the inside or we serve those who are on the inside. Better to be poor but in God’s hands then comfortable but in the system’s.
I hear alot of people who talk about the problem. We know the basic gist of the problem but what is the solution? The solution is faith in Jesus Christ. The subjugation of the poor has been going on since day one. We will most likely not be able to solve this problem. However, we can re-define what life should look like; we can repent; we can love our brother; we can perservere; we can stop feeding the beast. The way to overcome is to re-define what life should look like. We can no longer expect to live as we did before. All of us in order to survive will have to learn how to do basic things. Things like growing our own food in an urban setting; bee keeping; clothes making; energy harvesting and things of this sort. Things that keep us alive, not entertained. But at the forefront of what we will need to do is realize that Jesus Christ became man which is to say God became man and that it is a sin to think that God doesn’t exist because the world is evil and rigged. We turn the evil presented to us into a prayer to God for the conversion of sinners and for faith and for hope. We will not become doubtful no matter what comes our way. And I know this, something is coming our way. Something that we haven’t seen before. It will become more evident that our faith which is founded in humility leads to grace and the grace of God gives us real truth which will set us free. I believe the system is designed to make us feel defeated because if we live by the system we realize that we have no way to fight the system. We sense a loss of control and self determination. The system is bigger than us but God is bigger than it and Jesus who died on the cross gave us life through His death.

I like what you say but the systems we live in are how God provides for us. So we have to be cautiously critical of systems. I do recognize that those who manage the systems do so without regard for the human persons they employ. What we need are systems inspired by the love for God and for His creation.
